Just a few minutes ago I’ve released the new version 1.0.6 of File Navigator at OpenNTF. It’s a small release, but with some really nice enhancements.
Some people asked me to publish them on my blog - so here we go. You can get all BLUG slides from the BLUG agenda. Slides and code are included.
Just coming back from presenting at BLUG, where Theo hosted a top event, I received my confirmation for UKLUG. Man, that will be busy days, as I’ve got two session at DNUG just the week before. Counting all together that would be six speaking engagements within the first halft of this year. Great!
Within the last days I’ve received several confirmations for speaking at BLUG and DNUG. At both conferences I’ll speak about the new IBM Social Business Toolkit. And at DNUG I’ll have a second session about OSGi.
After some silence in this blog (hopefully I’ll find some more spare time in the future to fill it more regularly) I’ll have some - at least for myself - exciting news.
A few days ago I had a request to incorporate additional customer addresses into the Notes name lookup. Our users wanted to choose from multiple addresses or directly get the mobile number (for our own-developed short message gateway). After some investigations I found a - very simple - solution. You just need to use the same field names as they are used in the pernames.ntf and Notes does the rest for you. As Notes displays the mail address explanation automatically you have to choose the “right” field.
As I’ve blogged a some weeks (or months ago) the new File Navigator release is very near.
I haven’t blogged for a long, long time now…
Dear fellow reader,
After the last File Navigator release there are still some feature requests left. As I want to deliver the most wanted features within the next release I need your vote. At the moment it’a little bit hard for me to prioritize and to evaluate the feature requests. Some of them are really easy to implement - some are labor-intensive.
